My complaints are numerous....from the stray kitten roaming the building, to the dirty shirt worn by the funeral director, to the "hearse" (a 1987 Chevy Astrovan) being over one hour late to the burial service. When the "hearse" finally did show up, they forgot the death certificates. When we did finally get the DC's, they neglected to put in my Father's middle name. DO NOT USE THIS FUNERAL HOME. It is cheap, but you get what you pay for.
A direct burial is a disposition of human remains without viewing,visitation,rites or ceremony. It is common to use a utility vehicle to transport a deceased to the cemetery at it's convenience since no graveside was contracted nor paid for. Death certificates are available at the funeral home not the cemetery. At all times the dignity of the deceased is our top priority. Unfortunately, In times of grief family dynamics come into play.
